Frank Bensel Jr did something amazing at the US Senior Open.
He made two holes-in-one on back-to-back holes, which is almost impossible.
The Newport Country Club in Rhode Island has two par threes in a row on the fourth and fifth holes, which is already unusual.
Bensel not only aced the fourth hole but also nailed his tee shot on the fifth! The odds of making two holes-in-one in one round are 67 million to one. Trying to figure out the odds for consecutive holes is just mind-blowing.
Fans might think this news is incredible and hard to believe!
Unbelievable Feat:
Bensel had a rough start with a five-over round of 75 on day one and didn’t play well before or after his aces, making five bogeys in nine holes. You can imagine how confused he must have felt after hitting his tee shot from 203 yards into the hole right after doing it from 184 yards!
So, it’s no surprise that he followed up those amazing shots with four straight bogeys—maybe he was already thinking about celebrating?
Getting even one hole-in-one is every golfer’s dream. Getting two in a row puts Bensel’s name into golf history forever.
What are the odds of two holes-in-one in a row!? 😱
