Saturday’s LPGA Toto Japan Classic faced a weather disruption due to Tropical Storm Kong-Rey, halting all play and reducing the event to 54 holes.
The LPGA Tour announced that the Seta Golf Course would remain closed on Saturday as a result of the storm. Consequently, the third round was postponed until Sunday, November 3rd, with pairings unchanged but new starting times to be shared later in the day.
Hana Wakimoto currently leads at 13-under in her home country, holding a two-shot advantage over Yealimi Noh and Ariya Jutanugarn. Fans might think it’s exciting to see Wakimoto leading on home turf.
