Tiger Woods Watches Son Charlie in State Championship Final

Tiger Woods watches his son Charlie in the final round of a state championship.

Charlie Woods played an exciting round of golf, making five birdies in the Florida High School State Championship, but his team didn’t win the title this time.

Earlier in the month, Charlie’s team secured their spot to defend their championship by performing well in the Class 1A Region 4 tournament. Both Tiger and Elin were there to cheer him on.

The boys moved on to Mission Resort & Club in Howey-In-The-Hills for a two-day event starting Monday. They began strong, tying for 9th place with Lake Mary Prep and Lake Highland Prep. Charlie shot a six-over 78 with a birdie on the 14th hole .

Performance Highlights:

On Wednesday, Charlie improved significantly under Tiger’s watchful eye. He made two birdies on the front nine and added three more after the turn. This impressive play placed him second among his teammates and 32nd individually.

Fans might feel proud of how well Charlie did despite not winning the title again.

Even though they didn’t take first place, finishing in the top three was still a great achievement for Charlie and his team. At just 15 years old, he had a fantastic day on the course.

In this year’s event, Charlie scored rounds of 78 and 76, placing him 26th individually and fourth within his team as they aimed for their fourth state championship title. Interestingly, he’s managed something even Tiger hasn’t achieved yet!

What do you think about Charlie’s performance?
