Eight months after its debut at the Genesis Invitational, Tiger Woods’ clothing brand, Sun Day Red, has launched its very first pop-up shop. This exciting new shop is located at Pebble Beach Golf Links, a place known for many of Woods’ memorable victories, including his famous 15-shot win at the 2000 US Open.
Sun Day Red’s announcement revealed that the pop-up opened on October 11th at Pebble Beach Golf Resort. This gives fans a chance to see and try on their favorite gear in person. The store is packed with Sun Day Red golf apparel and accessories, plus special items featuring the Pebble Beach logo that you can’t find online.
Pebble Beach holds a special spot in Woods’ heart. Not only has he won there multiple times, but he also helped redesign The Hay Short Course in 2021. His annual tournaments like the Tiger Woods Invitational are held there too. “Pebble Beach is very special to me for many reasons,” said Woods as he continues to recover from back surgery . “It’s the perfect place for our first Sun Day Red Pop-Up Shop.”

Fans might think this pop-up shop is just what they needed to feel closer to their idol’s legacy.
Throughout 2024, Sun Day Red added new collections online, starting with products released in May—like the iconic red polo shirt Woods wears on Sundays. After ending his partnership with Nike earlier this year, Woods teamed up with TaylorMade; even Karl Vilips from Stanford was seen sporting their clothes recently.
But not everything is smooth sailing for Sun Day Red. They’re currently tangled in a legal dispute with Tigeraire over logo similarities involving a tiger design . According to CNBC, Tigeraire claims that Sun Day Red unlawfully used their logo idea on products endorsed by Woods.
In response to these allegations, court documents filed on September 27 show that Woods’ legal team has moved to dismiss Tigeraire’s complaint while also reluctantly suing them back.
What do you think about all this? Do you believe this will affect how people view Tiger’s brand?
