Team USA has announced its 12-player roster for the 2024 Solheim Cup at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia.
The event will take place from Friday, September 13 to Sunday, September 15, and Team USA is eager to win their first outright victory since 2017.
In recent years, Team USA has struggled, losing twice and tying once in the last three Solheim Cups. Carlota Ciganda’s efforts for Team Europe last year extended the USA’s winless streak.
Despite only winning two of the past seven Solheim Cups, America still leads the overall series 10.5-8.5 thanks to early dominance. Captain Stacy Lewis hopes her chosen team can start a new era of success for Team USA.
Team Roster Announcement
Seven players earned their spots through LPGA Tour points while two others qualified via world rankings. The final three were picked by Lewis on August 27, just weeks before the competition begins.

Corpuz had eight top-25 finishes this term and was tough to beat during her debut appearance in Spain last year.

Khang was formidable in Spain last year scoring 3.5 points from four matches; she’s continued that form into this season too!
Andrea Lee (Points List)
Lee made it by edging out Angel Yin by just over a hundred points thanks to five top-10s throughout her season .
Rose Zhang (World Ranking)
Zhang will make her second appearance based on her Rolex Ranking position despite missing automatic qualification by a narrow margin of points.
Alison Lee (World Ranking)
Returning after nine years since her last Solheim Cup appearance—the longest gap in US history—Lee aims to make an impact on home soil this time around!
Lexi Thompson (Captain’s Pick)
Thompson was always going to be picked due to announcing plans for retirement earlier this year; she brings valuable experience with nine career wins at Solheim Cups .
