Expressing his desire for unity in the elite golfing world, McIlroy stated, “I feel like we’ve got a fractured competitive landscape right now and I would prefer if everyone sort of got back into the same boat. I think that’s the best thing for golf.” He emphasized the importance of bringing the game of golf back together, expressing the hope that the PGA Tour can come to an agreement with the PIF.
While McIlroy has been critical of LIV Golf in the past, he believes that an agreement with the PIF is the best way to repair the fractures in the elite game.
