Relegated Player Shoots Lowest Round as Koepka Struggles at LIV Golf Finale

On the final day of the 2024 LIV Golf League, Ripper GC clinched the title with an impressive 11-under total.

Rippers GC, 4Aces GC, Iron Heads GC, and Legion XIII GC competed fiercely for the championship. Sunday’s play also determined tier two and three standings based on scores.

Stinger GC posted the best team score of the day with a 15-under-par total. Branden Grace carded a seven-under 65, featuring an eagle and five birdies .

Unexpected Twists in Team Performances:

Despite being relegated last week in Chicago, Grace’s stellar performance helped Stinger GC top tier 2. Fireballs GC followed closely with all members under-par. Sergio Garcia and Charl Schwartzel both shot six-under 66s.

Fans might think this was one of the most unpredictable tournaments ever!

In contrast, Smash GC had a rough time despite high expectations at Dallas. They lost to bottom-seeded Iron Heads GC on Friday in a shocking upset.

Captain Brooks Koepka struggled immensely, scoring just one birdie against multiple bogeys and doubles for an eight-over-par round of 80. Jason Kokrak didn’t fare much better, while Graeme McDowell and Talor Gooch managed only one-under rounds each.

What do you think about these surprising outcomes?
