TaylorMade has unveiled the Kalea Gold women’s golf clubs, building on their previous Kalea Premier range.
This new line is designed by women for women, with feedback from four groups of female golfers playing a crucial role in its development.
The TaylorMade Women’s Advisory Board, consisting of industry professionals across Europe, provided expert insights on what they and their clients preferred.
The second group was the TaylorMade Women’s Golf and Social Club. These employees gave real-time feedback on colors and grips. Data-driven test panels and online reviews also shaped the final design of Kalea Gold.
Fans might think this shows how much TaylorMade cares about women golfers’ needs.
Designed For More Speed And More Distance
Kalea Gold drivers use Carbonwood construction to optimize energy transfer and maximize distance. This design includes a 2° loft sleeve and TSS weight for precision tuning, similar to top-tier TaylorMade drivers.
Optimized Performance
Kalea Gold fairway woods have a wrapped carbon crown that boosts launch conditions, speed, and forgiveness. The Speed Pocket and Inverted Cone face reduce errors on off-center hits. A TSS weight allows for fine-tuning these clubs as well.
Forgiveness And Control
The irons feature a Cap Back Design paired with Speed Pocket technology to enhance launch and forgiveness. They also have an ECHO Damper for better sound and feel, along with stronger lofts to improve gapping between clubs.
Tour Proven Spider Technology
The putter in this line is inspired by the Spider S putter, featuring a multi-material design that increases stability. Its blue body, grey TruePath Alignment, and gold trailing edge offer excellent contrast against the ball and green.
Premium headcovers match the Kalea Gold theme in white, gold, grey, and blue designs. For bags, there are lightweight options like the Cart Lite bag (14-way top) or FlexTech bag (4-way top), both weighing just five pounds.
The Importance Of Custom Fit
TaylorMade emphasizes custom fitting with Kalea Gold to ensure every woman golfer gets optimal performance from her clubs. Various shaft and grip options allow precise adjustments for each player’s needs.
