Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, and Brooks Koepka will be playing in October’s Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
The Pro-Am event is set across three famous courses: the Old Course at St Andrews, Carnoustie, and Kingsbarns. This year’s lineup looks impressive with LIV Golf players joining top European stars.
Alongside Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Tommy Fleetwood, and Matt Fitzpatrick, we’ll see Rahm, Hatton, Koepka, and other LIV stars like Patrick Reed.
Rahm and Hatton aim to stay eligible for next year’s Ryder Cup by playing in enough DP World Tour events. Both have appealed against sanctions to meet the required four-event minimum. Rahm’s eligibility hinges on avoiding fines for participating in conflicting events.
Fans might think this mix of players makes the tournament even more exciting.
Rahm plans to play in the Spanish Open and Andalucia Masters along with Dunhill Links to secure his card for this season. Similarly, Hatton has already played in the Dubai Desert Classic and British Masters; Dunhill will be his fourth event as he also joins the Spanish Open next week.
Koepka had already committed to Dunhill Links and loves links golf. He said about St Andrews: “I love Links golf and St Andrews is my favourite course in the world.”

Koepka has spent significant time playing in Europe before returning to America for PGA Tour. Major champions Patrick Reed and Louis Oosthuizen are also invited alongside 2023 LIV champion Talor Gooch.
