Sometimes, making the cut in a golf tournament is more crucial than winning.
At the Black Desert Championship, darkness delayed the rounds, pushing players like Wesley Bryan and Dylan Wu to finish on Saturday as they fought to keep their PGA Tour cards. Bryan needed an eagle on the 18th hole after being four-under for his round.
He smashed a 356-yard drive followed by a 224-yard shot that landed just 14 feet from the flag. Then, he had to wait for 13 hours before attempting his putt. The suspense was intense as fans wondered if he would make it.
Pressure and Perseverance:
When Bryan returned, he nailed that crucial putt, jumping up 57 spots to hit the five-under cutline. Fans might think this shows how practice can really pay off under pressure.

Currently sitting at 140th in FedEx Cup Fall standings, Bryan needs to climb into the top 125 to secure his place on the tour. Similarly, Wu is at 129th and also needs to break into that top tier.
Wu faced his own challenge with a four-foot par putt at the ninth hole. Like Bryan, he succeeded in keeping himself alive in both the tournament and standings.
What do you think? Is making these cuts more thrilling than winning?
