Luke Kwon Shines in Asian Tour Debut

Luke Kwon impresses in his Asian Tour debut.

Luke Kwon started his first Asian Tour event at Black Mountain GC in Thailand with a great performance, scoring a five-under-par 67.

His game was flawless, featuring five birdies and 13 pars, placing him just three shots behind the leaders, Charng-Tai Sudsom and Liu Yanwei. Kwon expressed confidence after the round, saying he felt no nerves and shared that his team was filming for his YouTube channel. “Nothing different honestly, same old same old,” he remarked.

For the next round, Kwon plans to aim for more fairways and greens . His fellow creator Taewook Koh, also known as Taco Golf, scored an even par 72 on the same day. The tournament is part of the Asian Tour’s International Series with big prize money and a chance to join the LIV Golf League in 2025.

More Highlights from the Tournament:

Recently, Kwon also made headlines by winning the Creator Classic during the PGA Tour Championship week. Fans might think it’s exciting to see how these creators are making their mark in professional golf.

Mac Boucher from Canada, famous for his trick shots online, will participate in next week’s International Series Thailand at Thai Country Club in Bangkok. Meanwhile, John Catlin leads the International Series rankings and has played several LIV events this season as a substitute. He shot three-under on Thursday and is determined to secure a spot for all 14 LIV events next year. “The fact we have these six events left basically means it’s completely up for grabs,” Catlin said confidently.
