The LIV Golf off-season is a time for teams to make changes, and this year, Kevin Na’s Iron Heads GC might be shaking things up. A recent teaser from the team’s official account hinted at three new signings, sparking curiosity among fans.
A mysterious image showed Na with three shadowy figures behind him, accompanied by the message: “Big moves loading. Iron Heads GC is gearing up for 2025 with three exciting signings. Who do you think is joining the squad? Stay tuned!” This has everyone guessing who’s in and who might be out.
Speculation is swirling around the team’s future lineup. Last season, Na was joined by Danny Lee, Jinichiro Kozuma, and Scott Vincent. However, Vincent ended up in the Drop Zone, casting doubt on his future unless he triumphs in the LIV Golf Promotions event to secure a spot for 2025.
Team Changes Ahead?
Lee and Kozuma finished in what’s known as the Open Zone. This status means they could either negotiate with other teams or stay put if Iron Heads GC offers them new deals. Could these two be part of the upcoming signings while Vincent exits? Or are bigger changes on the horizon?
Fans might wonder if keeping some players would bring stability or if fresh faces are needed for success. The current lineup struggled during much of 2024 but managed an impressive comeback in the Team Championship by knocking out Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC and finishing second overall.
The off-season buzz isn’t limited to Iron Heads GC alone. Eugenio Chacarra is looking for a new team after leaving Sergio Garcia’s Fireballs GC, while Dustin Johnson has added Thomas Pieters from Range Goats GC to his own 4 Aces GC roster.
This move leaves 4 Aces with an extra player and Range Goats short-handed with only Peter Uihlein and Matthew Wolff remaining after Bubba Watson landed in the Drop Zone—though he might still return if it makes sense financially.
Meanwhile, there’s anticipation about potential newcomers from both within LIV Golf Promotions and possibly even PGA Tour transfers. Players like Watson’s brother Kieran, Stinger GC’s Branden Grace, and Cleeks GC’s Kalle Samooja also face uncertain futures after ending up in their respective Drop Zones.
What do you think about all these changes? Will they lead to victory or more challenges ahead?
