The only American streaming partner of the LIV Golf League has stopped its service immediately.
Caffeine TV, which started showing LIV Golf in February, announced on Wednesday that it was ending due to not making enough money.
A statement on Caffeine TV’s website said: “All good things come to an end. We’re at the point where we are still not quite profitable, so we’ve made the decision to end the service as of June 26th as we figure out our next steps.”

They created a world-class team, board, and set of investors while making a unique impact on live sports streaming. “We’ve had a huge impact on the industry and will again soon, in a different way,” they added. Many thanks were given to everyone involved.
Fans might think this is sad news for those who enjoyed watching golf there .
Started in 2018, Caffeine raised nearly $150 million from big names like 21st Century Fox and Andreessen Horowitz but struggled financially despite showing various sports including golf, football, basketball, and soccer. After signing with LIV in February just before Anthony Kim’s return to pro golf, co-founder Ben Keighran expressed excitement about expanding LIV’s reach through their platform.
LIV’s deal with Caffeine included more than just live Friday coverage; they also aired shows like Club 54 Pre-Round and Post-Round shows along with podcasts such as Fairway to Heaven.
However now without Caffeine TV …

Independent viewership numbers have been hard to find this season but reportedly between 2.25-3.51 million viewers tuned in worldwide via YouTube & LIV Golf + app during first four events this year !
Next up? The event in Andalucia Spain from July12-14 followed by The Open Championship then off to JCB Golf & Country Club UK !
