LIV Golf just landed its biggest TV deal yet, signing a multi-year agreement with FOX Sports that’ll bring all 14 of its tournaments to American television starting in 2025.
It’s a game-changer for the Saudi-backed golf league, which until now has only been available on The CW Network or through its app and YouTube channel.
The action kicks off next month at LIV Golf Riyadh, with tournaments airing across FOX’s family of networks. More than half the events will be shown on the main FOX channel or FS1, with some rounds appearing on FS2 or FOX Business Network.
Fans can catch every swing through the FOX Sports app too.
The announcement comes just a day after LIV Golf shook things up at the top, bringing in Scott O’Neil as its new CEO to replace Greg Norman.
“We’re thrilled to partner with FOX Sports,” O’Neil said. “LIV Golf is getting bigger and bolder, and this puts us right up there with the nation’s premier sports leagues.”
He’s particularly excited about LIV’s growing appeal to younger fans. “We’re drawing a more active, tech-savvy audience, and this deal will take our broadcast to new heights.”
Don’t expect the coverage to change much, though. LIV will still produce its own broadcasts with the same familiar faces calling the action. Arlo White will lead the commentary team, with David Feherty and Jerry Foltz providing analysis. Dom Boulet and Su-Ann Heng will continue reporting from the course.
Brooks Koepka, captain of Smash GC, couldn’t contain his excitement about the deal.
“FOX Sports knows how to bring sports to life,” Koepka said. “I’m pumped to see how they showcase what makes our game so unique.”
Current LIV Golf champion Jon Rahm sees it as a major milestone for the league’s growth.
“This partnership will help bring our tournaments to a broader audience,” the Spanish star said. “FOX Sports has a reputation for delivering world-class coverage, and I’m confident they’ll elevate the experience for everyone watching.”
The 2025 season tees off in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, February 6-8.
