LIV Golf has announced new contract offers for five of their out-of-contract players, ensuring at least one more season with the league. Anirban Lahiri, who joined LIV Golf during its inaugural season, has also been offered a new contract. Despite finishing as a runner-up three times, Lahiri is still in pursuit of his first win on the circuit. Mexican player Carlos Ortiz, who finished 15th in the standings, has been recognized for his successful second season with the Fireballs GC. Richard Bland, at 50 years old, has proved that age is not a barrier to success on the circuit, rallying with three top-10 finishes in the last five regular events of the season. Lastly, Scott Vincent, the best performer for Kevin Na’s Iron Heads GC, secured fourth place at Singapore and Jeddah in his second LIV Golf season.

These players have the option to either stay with their current teams for another season or become free agents and negotiate deals with other teams. Additionally, there are five more players without contracts who will have to negotiate a deal or earn a place in the 2024 LIV Golf League via December’s qualifier tournament. “The league is always looking to evolve and see new talent come through,” said a representative from LIV Golf.

As the transfer window and contract negotiations take place, fans and players alike are also on the lookout for Black Friday golf deals, which have already started appearing. With so much happening in the world of LIV Golf, the offseason is set to be an exciting time for the league and its fans.
