Korn Ferry Tour Player Aces Par 4

Timmy Crawford made history with an incredible shot.

During the Korn Ferry Tour’s The Ascendant event at TPC Colorado, Timmy Crawford achieved a rare feat by scoring a hole-in-one on a par 4.

He took his tee shot over the water on the third hole, and it landed perfectly in the cup at 336 yards!

Crawford had just qualified for the tournament on Monday and played rounds of 66 and 73 to make the cut. He was ready to make his mark on Moving Day.

Historic Moment:

After parring his first two holes, he made history with his ace on the third hole. It was the first hole-in-one on a par 4 in twelve years on this tour! The last one happened during the final round of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship at TPC Craig Ranch by Rob Oppenheim.

Steven Johnson, who witnessed Crawford’s amazing shot, said it was “the best shot he had ever seen.” He described how it went straight at the hole without any bend, hopped twice, then rolled right in.

Fans might think this is one of those moments that makes golf so exciting.

Following this incredible ace, Crawford continued strong with birdies and bogeys that led him to a four-under 32 on the front nine. By then, he was six shots behind leaders Peter Kuest and Matt McCarty.

Course Challenges:

TPC Colorado presented quite a challenge with its layout stretching over 8,000 yards! One of its par-5 holes even measured an astonishing 773 yards. But because it’s situated over 5,000 feet above sea level, balls travel farther than usual.

What do you think about such long courses? Do they make golf more interesting or too tough?
