Kevin Na announced that he and his caddie Kenny Harms have ended their 16-year partnership.
Na shared on Instagram that Harms has been like a brother to him, marking the end of their long collaboration.
He also posted several photos from various tournaments over the years.
The duo first tasted victory together at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in 2011. They won this event again in 2019 after a playoff with Patrick Cantlay. Over the years, they also celebrated wins at the Greenbrier and Charles Schwab Challenge. Their last PGA Tour win was at the 2021 Sony Open in Hawaii before joining LIV Golf in June 2022.
After playing 33 events together on LIV Golf, Na and Harms are parting ways. In an emotional post, Na expressed his gratitude to Harms: “It has been an incredible run! 16 years together, you have always been there for me on and off the golf course,” he wrote. “We have shared many amazing moments and also had some hardships along the way.”
Fans might feel bittersweet about this news.
“It’s been extremely difficult to say goodbye,” Na continued. “You will always be a brother to me.”
Fans may wonder what prompted this change after such a long partnership.
