Jason Day on Malbon Golf Apparel Impact

Jason Day calls his Malbon Golf apparel

Jason Day has been playing great in 2024 with top-10 finishes in several tournaments.

Not only is his game strong, but his new clothing style has everyone talking.

He switched to Malbon Golf’s streetwear this year, leaving Nike behind.

At the Masters in April, Day’s baggy pants and bold vest caused a stir on social media. The traditionalists at Augusta National even asked him to remove his vest with “Malbon Golf Championship” written on it. Malbon loved the attention and posted, “Looks like that time for folks to get mad over clothes again.”

Day’s New Look

Day found humor in the situation, joking about how his pants puff up when it’s windy. Despite the buzz, he’s happy with his choice to team up with Malbon. He shared that being part of their team has been fantastic and noted that while some tour players aren’t used to the look, he thinks it’s awesome.

Fans might think this new style is pretty cool.

Malbon Golf started in 2017 and has a big presence in Korea. They’re now making waves here too. Day loves wearing unique outfits no one else has at events. Other pros like Charley Hull have also joined Malbon, showing the brand’s staying power despite any controversy.

“It’s exciting to hear Steve [Malbon]’s vision for the future,” Day said. “I’ll be wearing stuff that’s wild for golf but looks really good.”

Beyond fashion, Day still aims high in golf. He wants to win all Majors after finishing second in each one and winning one already. His next goal starts at next year’s Masters before heading to the Presidents Cup with the International Team.

Earlier this month, he auctioned off his Masters vest for $18,000 and matched that amount himself for his Brighter Days Foundation.

What do you think of Jason Day’s new style?
