Jake Knapp & Makena White: Dating Life Revealed

Rising PGA Tour star Jake Knapp has found his perfect match both on and off the course. His girlfriend Makena White has been by his side during his incredible start to 2024, which includes two pro wins and a dramatic climb up the world rankings.

The 26-year-old Canadian has become a familiar face at tournaments, celebrating Knapp’s victories and sharing her enthusiasm on social media. She’s particularly vocal about her other sporting loves too – the Boston Bruins and Ottawa Senators hockey teams.

Their love story began in August 2023, but they kept things private until February 2024. That’s when White was front and center for Knapp’s first PGA Tour win in Mexico.

But it was at the 2025 Cognizant Classic where White really captured golf fans’ hearts.

She had the perfect view as her boyfriend made history, shooting an incredible 59 at PGA National Resort. The PGA Tour cameras caught her priceless reaction as Knapp sealed the deal.

“That was crazy!” she exclaimed, giving him a celebratory kiss before playfully switching into reporter mode to interview him about his historic round.

White’s no stranger to golf herself. She played as a kid but took a long break during her teens. “I had no interest,” she admits. Now at 23, she’s fallen in love with the sport again and recently got her first set of “big kid clubs.”

But there’s more to White than just being a golf girlfriend. Since 2021, she’s built a successful career in surgical sales at LeMaitre Vascular, where she works closely with cardiac and vascular surgeons.

“I help improve patient care by making sure surgeons have the equipment they need to change lives,” she explains.

Her path to success included graduating from McMaster University in 2019 with a degree in communications and software engineering. Before finding her calling in medical sales, she worked at Labatt Breweries and even spent time as a legal intern in her hometown of Ottawa.

As Knapp continues his rise in professional golf, it’s clear he’s got a partner who brings her own mix of professional success, sporting passion, and infectious enthusiasm to their relationship.
