Former LIV Golfers Sihwan Kim and James Piot are focusing on building momentum as they set their sights on a return to the lucrative league. Both golfers are participating in the BNI Indonesian Masters, the penultimate event of the Asian Tour’s season, and are hopeful that a strong performance will set them up for success at the LIV Golf Promotions event in December. Kim and Piot are both in a good position to make a comeback, sitting at three-under after completing Friday’s rounds.

Kim, who previously secured wins at the International Series Thailand and the Trust Golf Asian Mixed Stableford Challenge, expressed his determination to regain his form and make a successful return to the LIV Golf League. He emphasized the importance of gaining confidence and executing his shots, stating, “Winning is not really on my mind right now, I just want to see the good things I work on at the range to pan out on the course – I’m just concentrating on that and executing my shots.”

Piot, on the other hand, is grateful for the support and mentorship he received from Phil Mickelson during his time with LIV Golf. He expressed his desire to return to the league, citing the exceptional treatment and the high-level experience offered by LIV Golf. Piot stated, “Obviously LIV is world class; no one treats you better than the LIV Golf League, it was amazing how well they treat the players and how much you enjoy the tour, so I would obviously love to get back there.”

Despite facing challenges, both Kim and Piot are optimistic as they work towards reclaiming their spots in the prestigious LIV Golf League. Gaganjeet Bhullar currently leads the BNI Indonesian Masters with a score of 12-under-par, while LIV Golf’s Patrick Reed is in third place at eight-under. As the competition unfolds, Kim and Piot remain focused on their goals and are determined to make a strong comeback.
