John Daly’s home in Florida was completely destroyed by Hurricane Helene.

The famous golfer shared on social media that his Clearwater house, along with three other homes of friends and family, was lost to the storm. The hurricane hit near Tampa and left a trail of destruction up to North Carolina, claiming 166 lives, cutting power for millions, and causing severe floods.

Despite the chaos , Daly is grateful that his loved ones are safe. “For everyone that has reached out, my family are all safe,” he posted on Facebook. “But all our homes are not as water is pouring out of every crevice. Total loss and devastation after living here all my life! I still cannot imagine ALL we have lost, but we are SAFE and all can be replaced! Praise God!”

Before the PGA Tour Champions event in Jacksonville this week, Daly spoke about the disaster’s impact. He expressed sorrow for those affected: “It was bad; I feel for everybody,” he said. Fans might think it’s incredible how strong people can be during such hard times.

Daly described it as the worst he’s ever seen and hoped everyone could rebuild their lives soon. As he returns to golfing on the PGA Tour Champions circuit, his newly renovated home is gone while others remain submerged.

“We’re going to have to re-do about three and a half homes,” he explained. “I just haven’t even gone back into mine.” It’s been two years since he’d fixed it up only for it now to vanish in an instant.

Anna’s mom lost her house too; Matty’s place burned down yesterday morning; Chrissy needed a boat just to reach hers—everything seems lost.

In Georgia, Augusta National wasn’t spared either; trees were scattered across Magnolia Lane due to the fierce storm.
