Countries in Presidents Cup International Team

The Presidents Cup keeps getting bigger, with teams from the USA and around the world competing over four days.

Like the Ryder Cup, it features foursomes, fourballs, and singles matches but includes more points. Unlike the Ryder Cup’s USA vs Europe format, this event has players from multiple continents.

As expected, the USA team is all American players while the International team includes players from Asia, South America, North America (excluding USA), Africa, and Australia/Oceania .

Countries like Australia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Fiji, New Zealand, Japan, Paraguay, Canada, South Korea, Argentina, Colombia have all participated in past events. The 2024 edition will follow a qualification system where six players qualify automatically based on their Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) points. The captain then picks six additional members during the PGA Tour’s Tour Championship week.

Fans might think it’s exciting to see such a diverse range of countries represented in one tournament!
