The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship saw a fierce competition unfold at three legendary Scottish golf courses.
Over four days, 168 celebrities and amateurs battled it out at St Andrews’ Old Course, Kingbarns, and Carnoustie. Unlike usual events where around 65 golfers advance to the weekend, only the top 20 celebrity teams got a second chance to play at St Andrews.
Leading the pack was Tyrrell Hatton and his dad Jeff, who started Sunday with a combined score of 38-under. Tyrrell had an amazing Saturday, tying the Old Course record with a score of 61. His dad also doubles as his coach and could win in just his second appearance at this event.
Huey Lewis aimed to make headlines by helping Rasmus Neegraard-Petersen secure the team prize. The duo posted scores of 59 and 58 during the week but were still four strokes behind the Hattons. Fans might think it’s exciting to see such famous faces competing in golf.
Meanwhile, James Nicholas teamed up with NFL legend John Elway, entering the final round at -31 with an outside shot at winning. Elway’s first Super Bowl title came ten months after Nicholas was born!

Among those on 29-under were English cricket star Allan Lamb and former soccer player Gareth Bale. Bale made news when a dog ran off with his ball on Saturday! Despite that odd moment, he and Dan Brown have had a great week.
Other notable pairs making it through included Robert MacIntyre with his dad Dougie as caddie, John Parry alongside Mark Nicholas, and Jordan Smith paired with actor Bill Murray—the “Caddyshack” icon himself.

Did Jay Monahan Or Yasir Al-Rumayyan Make The Cut?
Neither Jay Monahan nor Yasir Al-Rumayyan advanced past the cut line set at 28-under this week. They were seen laughing together earlier but couldn’t quite make it through to Sunday’s rounds. However, Monahan did manage some bragging rights by finishing tied for 60th place on 23-under alongside Billy Horschel.
