Bryson DeChambeau has been on a wild adventure, trying to hit a hole-in-one over his house for two weeks straight.
His first video warned everyone: “This might take a while,” and it turned out he was right. He got super close, just a foot from the hole in his backyard.
Every day, Bryson posted more videos, increasing the number of tries as days went by. One time on day 13, the ball almost made it but cruelly bounced out of the hole.
DeChambeau’s Unusual Challenge:
The Crushers GC captain kept landing balls on the green with amazing skill, though some hit rocks nearby. It seemed like there would be another video for day 17, but then came his 14th try of that day.
As soon as he swung, Bryson shouted, “Be good. Be good!” Someone else chimed in with hope: “That could do it.” And it did! The ball gently rolled into the hole after landing just right.
Cheers erupted with cries of “It’s in, it’s in!” and Bryson celebrated wildly—maybe even more than when he won at Pinehurst No.2 during June’s US Open.
Fans might think it’s cool how many times he tried before finally succeeding; 134 attempts over two weeks is no small feat! It’s impressive considering he couldn’t even see where the ball was going to land from his position—and all without breaking any windows!
What do you think about Bryson’s persistence?
