BMW International Open 2024 Prize Money

The DP World Tour’s European Swing wraps up this week with the BMW International Open in Germany.

Munich Eichenried Golf Club hosts this historic event, previously won by Viktor Hovland, Henrik Stenson, and Ernie Els. Past champions also include John Daly, Colin Montgomerie, and Paul Azinger.

In 2023, Thriston Lawrence from South Africa clinched victory by one shot over Joost Luiten. He took home $340,000 from a $2 million prize pool. This year’s tournament offers even more rewards .

The 2024 edition boasts a $2.5 million prize fund. The winner will earn $425,000 while the runner-up gets $275,000. Players are also vying for top spots on the European Swing table which offers an additional $200,000 to the leader after this tournament.

There’s also a spot at the Genesis Scottish Open for the European Swing winner and entry into all events in the Back 9 phase of the season. Guido Migliozzi currently leads narrowly ahead of Nacho Elvira after his playoff win at KLM Open against Joe Dean and Marcus Kinhult.
