The PGA Tour is back in Utah after a long break since 1963, with the Black Desert Championship making quite an impression.
This tournament is turning heads with its breathtaking views and incredible scores, like Adam Svensson’s 60 and Ben Kohles’ hole-in-one. The course, surrounded by striking black lava, saw players hitting every fairway or green in regulation.
Four players achieved both feats: Henrik Norlander, Mac Meissner, Nick Hardy, and Chris Kirk. Fans might think it’s amazing to see such precision on this challenging course.

Before this event, no player had managed to hit every fairway and green in one round during the 2024 season. But by Thursday’s end, Norlander was tied for second place at nine-under with nine birdies and no bogeys—his best score ever after several rounds of 64 before.
Henrik Norlander’s impressive day marked his second time achieving this feat on the PGA Tour. Only Jim Furyk and Tyler Duncan have done it more than once in the past decade.
Meissner, Kirk, and Hardy all shot five-under rounds of 66 but couldn’t finish due to darkness. They each had their highlights: Meissner and Kirk made six birdies with one bogey on the par-4 12th hole while Hardy played a flawless round without any bogeys.
Svensson leads at 11-under despite missing two fairways and three greens. What do you think about these amazing performances?
