Amy Boulden has decided to retire after playing professional golf for 11 years. She started her career in 2013 and won a tournament on the Ladies European Tour in 2020, finishing with an impressive score of 17-under-par at the Swiss Ladies Open. In her first year as a pro, she earned the LET Rookie of the Year title after winning in Switzerland at the Association Suisse de Golf Ladies Open.
Boulden’s best performance in a Major was tying for ninth place at the Ricoh Women’s British Open in 2015. Before turning pro, she had a successful amateur career, winning the Curtis Cup in 2012 with teammates like Charley Hull and Bronte Law. She also played for Wales in several championships and team events such as the Junior Solheim Cup.
Recently, Boulden has been seen more often on TV , working as a broadcaster for Sky Sports and The Open radio. “As the 2024 season comes to a close,” she shared online, “I wanted to take the time to share some news with you all…After 11 years of playing professionally on the Ladies European Tour, I have made the tough decision to step away from playing competitive golf.”
