Adidas has just unveiled the new Codechaos 25 spikeless golf shoe, launching on August 1st.
This updated version includes a 3D Torsion Plate in the outsole, an improved TwistGrip outsole, and a durable multi-layer knit upper. There will also be a BOA model with PerformFit Wrap for a more customized fit.
The third generation of Codechaos aims to redefine spikeless shoes since its first release in 2019. Following the success of Tour360 24 earlier this year, Adidas hopes to dominate the market again with this new model.
You’ll notice the vibrant colors and sleek design first, but it’s the performance enhancements that make Codechaos 25 stand out. The redesigned 3D Torsion Plate offers better stability during swings and while walking. It also improves overall fit by reducing midfoot bend and internal heel slip.
Key Features:
The TwistGrip outsole has been revamped too. With a new lug shape covering more surface area, traction elements have increased by up to 40% compared to previous models. Unlike before, the outsole no longer extends onto the shoe’s upper part.
“Nearly five years ago, we made the bold move to introduce Codechaos when traditional spikeless models were saturating the market,” said Masun Denison. “The impact this footwear had then and continues to have now is another proof point for us that golfers are continuing to look for spikeless performance in athletic and non-traditional silhouettes.”
Fans might think these changes show how much Adidas listens to what golfers want.
To boost appeal even further, engineers at BOA helped integrate PerformFit Wrap into the CodeChaos 25 BOA model. This feature provides extra stability with a locked-in feel thanks to its zipper shroud cover.
The upper part of Codechaos 25 uses a multi-layer knit designed for flexibility. The bottom layer closest to your foot is soft and moisture-wicking for comfort throughout your round of golf. The middle jacquard layer offers adaptability while playing, and an outer sporty mesh enhances all layers beneath it.
Both men’s and women’s styles of Codechaos 25 will be available globally from August 1st, with laced versions hitting US stores on November 1st.
