5 Prizes Adrian Meronk Could Win with Paris 2024 Olympic Gold

Adrian Meronk could win amazing prizes if he gets gold at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Poland’s Olympic Committee offers rewards far beyond what athletes from Hong Kong or Team USA receive. Athletes who win gold for Poland are treated like royalty, with significant financial and material rewards.

According to Forbes, Meronk could earn $82,000 if he beats top players like Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy at Le Golf National. Additionally, he would receive a two-bedroom apartment in Warsaw, a special reward for solo-sport athletes only.

Unbelievable Rewards:

The reason behind these grand prizes is to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of Poland’s participation in the Olympic Games. Besides money and an apartment, Meronk would also get a painting by a respected Polish artist, an investment-grade diamond, and a vacation voucher for two.

Interestingly, coaches get the same bonuses too—except for the apartment. With many golfers having teams of three to six people including their caddie, there’s extra pressure on Meronk to perform well.

Fans might think these rewards are incredibly generous compared to other countries that don’t offer any monetary compensation. For example, Team GB stars (excluding British Athletics) and athletes from Norway, Iceland, or Sweden don’t get cash rewards.

Meronk’s chances of winning a medal are uncertain due to his mixed form in the LIV Golf League since January. He started with a 47th place but quickly improved with four top-10 finishes in seven events. His best was second place in Houston while his Cleeks team won the squad event.

However, recent weeks have been challenging for him: 32nd in Nashville and 42nd in Andalucia before improving to 16th at LIV Golf UK where Jon Rahm won.

This will be Meronk’s second Olympic appearance after finishing 51st at the Tokyo Games.

What do you think about these amazing rewards?
